The Room
Jealousy and hatred
Fill me when I think
Of the times she has called,
And you have gone.
What is it about her
That a text is unread,
And all of the chores
Are undone?
What does she have
That is so comforting,
So warm, so great,
That I don't?
How has she managed
To take two of you, now,
When I could not,
Would never, and won't
Choose 4 walls
Over the whole house,
Or a game over the
Words we'd share?
Yet, she wins again,
And I don't understand
Why I can never
Seem to compare.
